Zephyr Productions

Zephyr Productions was founded in 1989 to draw corporate, private, and non-profit concerns together to produce the highest quality media entertainment, educating families and students across the world. The company creates and supports socially responsible projects that provide rare opportunities for proactive stewardship.

Whales is Zephyr's first major IMAX/OMNIMAX film. In its design, this project will entertain and amaze tens of millions around the world; it will educate millions of students in classrooms, museums, and at home with supporting curricula in varied media; it will create awareness and provide financial support for the Whale Conservation Institute and the National Wildlife Federation; and the project will help to attract families and school groups to leading museums and cultural centers across the globe. Every individual that buys a ticket is playing an active role in supporting education and conservation initiatives.

The type of leverage that Whales affords education and conservation initiatives would not be possible without the joint commitment of private investors, committed non-profits, and dedicated corporations. Zephyr prides itself on its ability to meet the demands of varied investors and supporters in the structure of its partnerships. When investors find common ground and higher purpose in their commitment, the potential of a project is virtually unlimited. Whales will become a model for future IMAX/OMNIMAX enterprises.

Zephyr is owned by Roger S. Payne, PhD, Charlton Reynders, III and Thomas P. Casper. Their wide range of experience and capability sets Zephyr apart from other production concerns.
