Summary
Of all the creatures on earth, nothing is more appropriate for
the world's largest film format than the world's largest animals.
With some species greater in size than the dinosaurs, whales have
a mystical quality about them that intimately links them with
humankind.
Filming whales has been an exciting adventure, drawing the Whales
film crew from location to location as they've traced the whales
annual cycle. The following excerpts from crew location highlight
some of the dramatic production events.
